Montrose currently has two main dwelling structures located on the tower terrace with the main
house having a large sweeping, slightly elevated site with magnificent views over the Rakaia River.
The guest chalet is located further to the north at the foot of the hills and although having a much
smaller land area, obtains and outstanding outlook over the land to the river and the nearby lake.
Five additional chalet sited have been developed, each containing excellent views over the lake, to
the river and have warm aspects and easy contour. Each chalet site is very unique in its setting or
particular water feature and all are extremely well located as not to be seen visual from the other sites.
